Financially supported by the National Security Agency, the National Science Foundation and other federal partners on an annual basis, the GenCyber program provides cybersecurity experiences for students and teachers at the secondary level. The GenCyber program strives to be a part of the solution to the Nation’s shortfall of skilled cybersecurity professionals. For more information, please visit: https://www.gen-cyber.com/.
We will accept applications from high school students in the state of Florida. The review process will start soon after the application due. Accepted participants will be notified through e-mails. For more information on the application, please visit: Application Process.
During the summer camp, accepted students will visit the UF (main campus in Gainesville) for on campus activities on Fridays. Parking passes and lunches will be provided for students during their two day-trips to the UF campus.

No. All accepted students are required to participate the two day-trips on the UF campus. The on-campus activities are integral components of the summer camp, including visits to research facilities and labs, face-to-face interactions with experts and peers, and so on. You do not want to miss them!
